Plume Books

NAL Launches Plume Books, New Line of Paperbacks, PW, Dec. 29, 1969: 

Plume Books, a new higher-priced line of NAL paperbacks, will be launched April 15. Plume Books, according to the publisher, will include works of both scholarly and general interest, but usually not mass market books. The the titles published under the Plume Books imprint will be large-sized books ranging in price from $1.95 to $5.95 and sold with a trade discount. There will be two lists per year.
